Alterra faces no hope until Turrican, the bionic metallic warrior, arrives to once again restore peace on Alterra.

After the fall of The Machine, Bren McGuire returns to the Freedom Forces as a decorated hero. However, the nightmare that had once terrorized the universe reappears, as The Machine returns and wreaks havoc with machine and mayhem. The people clamor for their shining savior to once again remerge, and Bren McGuire dons the suit once more for the final confrontation.
The Final Fight
The United Planets Freedom Forces have been the keepers of peace and order for decades. Led by humanity’s greatest minds, their mission is to seek out new life and new worlds in the unexplored galaxy. The voyages of the Freedom Forces’ starship Avalon-1 comes to a sudden end as “The Machine”, a cybernetic tyrant of destruction, attacks the ship and leaves its crew defeated and perished. The lone survivor of the attack, Bren McGuire, dons humanity’s finest weapon, the shining armor of Turrican, and his roar echoes through the universe.

The peaceful world of Katakis sees its existence suddenly under threat with the sudden appearance of the titanic mechanical monster that is “The Machine”. Freezing the people and reconstructing the world in his evil vision, the survivors send out a last message and a cry for help hoping a hero will appear. Piloting the Avalon-1, the Freedom Forces warrior receives the message. He approaches the planet Katakis and sets out on his mission to destroy The Machine.
