Standing Tall, Falling Flat
The iMouse E3 is a basic, budget-priced vertical mouse. Vertical mice, increasingly the go-to ergonomic-mouse form factor, reduce the long-term strain or twist that standard mice impose on your wrist. You grip the tall, fin-shaped mouse as if you were shaking someone’s hand, with the mouse fitting into the space between your thumb and fingers.
No Shortcuts in Pain Management
The Adesso iMouse E3 is supposed to be an easy path to a more ergonomic PC setup. At $49.99, it’s inexpensive for an ergo mouse (this kind of gear tends to be pricey), and it’s easy to use. The fact of the matter is, though, that it doesn’t feel nearly as comfortable as other vertical mice we’ve tested. It doesn’t offer as much hand support, and it still requires a small twist of the wrist to hold it properly.
Advanced Optical Sensor
The optical sensor allows you to work on a variety of surfaces including glass, wood, marble, and leather without needing a mouse pad.
