This range extender supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard and operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies supporting data transfer rates of up to 1167 Mb/s.
The dual external antennas ensure you receive an optimal signal while the built-in positioning LED indicators guide you through the process of selecting the prime location for your range extender.
Once you find the spot, you can connect the RP-AC55 to your existing network using the WPS button and then refer to the ASUS Extender app on your smartphone to manage a variety of settings within your newly configured network.

ASUS Extender App
